September 05, 2012. Contemplative Outreach Philippines pays a courtesy call on Archbishop Luis Antonio "Chito" Tagle. Venue was the Residencia, inside the Arzobispado de Manila compound, and right next to the Manila Cathedral. Was tagging along as a photographer (not bad - at least I get to visit places other than the COP Secretariat). Took a lot of pictures of the group - Archbishop Tagle is one of several of COP's priest-advisers, and - for the members - it was a delight to see him again. There was a trace of sadness though - Archbishop Tagle's appointment meant no more Lenten Retreats with COP, but, over-all, everyone was just glad to see him.
And I did get to have my picture taken with him. Nice chap, hearty sense of humour with a trace of an amazing intellect.
